Well shit, there you go. Someone flatlining all the mysticism and romance out of making what is percieved as chaotic and aggressive. Let the producer fix everything, if you don't like their workflow, do a lot of coke. Or weed if it's slower than allegro. Great stuff. This video must have the most content on drums over the internet without relying on any (audible) samples.
One of my university lecterers has also recorded at Peter Gabriels studios and they amount of stuff they could do there was insane.
